Selbari Range

 The Selbari Range is located in Nasik District in Maharashtra. They form the northernmost extent of Sahyadri and become the natural boundary between Nasik and Dhule districts. This mountain range has many mountain peaks one of them is Mangi-Tungi which has a height of 1,331 meters. It consists of solidified Flood Basalt dating back to the Cenozoic age . This mountain range has more peaks towards the western than the eastern side. The east side has Passes such as Selbari Pass that have road communication, the other one is Hindabari Pass and the Thermal Fort. To the extreme east within the district is the Galna Fort. Its western edge is gently close to the Dang region of Gujarat.

African Plate

 The African Plate is also called as Nubian Plate, this is the major tectonic plate that includes the continent of Africa (leaving the easternmost part) and the adjacent oceanic crust to the west and south.  This plate is surrounded by North American Plate and South American Plate to the west, Arabian Plate and Somali Plate to the east, the Eurasian Plate, Aegean Sea Plate, and Anatolian Plate to the north and Antarctic Plate to the south.
