Selbari Range
The Selbari Range is located in Nasik District in Maharashtra. They form the northernmost extent of Sahyadri and become the natural boundary between Nasik and Dhule districts. This mountain range has many mountain peaks one of them is Mangi-Tungi which has a height of 1,331 meters. It consists of solidified Flood Basalt dating back to the Cenozoic age.
This mountain range has more peaks towards the western than the eastern side. The east side has Passes such as Selbari Pass that have road communication, the other one is Hindabari Pass and the Thermal Fort. To the extreme east within the district is the Galna Fort. Its western edge is gently close to the Dang region of Gujarat.
